Hi guys, I have two kenwood KFC-3012 1200 watt subs. If these were yours, what amp would you use? Also, the local audio store around here is charging $350 for an installed viper alarm system. Is that pricey?

an no thats not to pricey i dont think. alarms cost a ton to install.

I wouldn't suggest putting 1200w/ea. on those subs. That is an exaggerated RMS, actual would be ~300w/ea. The model of Viper would really tell whether or not you are getting shafted.

all depends on where you are and what kind of install places are in your area when it comes to alarms. a place by me will install an alarm for like 200-250 that has a 2-way remote(goes off when your car alarm goes off) with a LED screen.

I dont know what model, I just thought that was crazy, my friend said it would be about 100-150$ so when I heard $350 I was shocked.

well u could do the aq1200d. great amp and will last u a long time an will barely get hot. there 250 shipped. u'd just have to set the gain on the amp carefully. also when u upgrade u could use this amp per sub or something for a later setup

I tried Sonicelectronix, and ebay and found nothing on this lol. Do they have a site? By the way thanks for all the feedback guys.
