Noob Question. Is this amp good for these subs?

Sorry, 100% new here and if this is in the wrong thread please feel free to re-direct me and delete this.

I'm currently throwing together and pricing my next system and so far i am highly considering 2 Image Dynamics Idmax v4 15s, They are a claimed 1200w rms each d4ohm, and i would like to run them both at 1ohm in a 9.5 cubic foot ported box tuned around 27 - 30hz.

The problem i'm having is finding a good amp that doesn't break the bank for running these subs at 1ohm. In the passed i've just taken the combined rms of the subs and added a few 100 watts for my amp but i've been curious to hear opinions from others whom have had more experience in this field.

This is one of the amps i had in mind and it would be nice for the price but it seems a bit underpowered.. thoughts?

Well it's a 2000W amp, not a 2400W Amp..... What's your budget? If you can Handle $400, an Orion XTR2500.1D Is a much better choice...
2 d2 wires to 0.5 or 2ohm.
That amp probably makes 2k clean at 14.4v
You all are wrong they are 1500-1600 watt amps at best. I've owned two of them. Both got utterly demolished by a DC 3.5k which is a legit 3.5k amp. Night and day loudness and sound quality difference.

I've seen the Brx2400 dyno around 2300 both in person and on a Youtube video.

there is no dyno video of the brx 2400. There is a dyno video of the higher end lines which is the brutus elite which costs a lot more and is built a lot better and their 1700 amp only did 1199 watts on 14.8 volts, they are garbage amps bud.

Ya ive seen the brx dyno over 2k also

Jeff, i saw you on a thread quite some time ago say you loved your 2400 and it did rated with good electrical

there is no dyno video of the brx 2400. it was a brz2400 my bad.
The BRZ lines were the only good lines that actually made 2100 watts at 1 ohm. BRX is complete power acoustik level garbage in comparison. Never ever touch them. Weak lows, weak output. There's actually a natural roll off under 30hz. Nothing else changing I never could play anything below 30hz with the BRXs even with the subsonic off at full tilt. With the DC 3.5k, even at low volumes my windshield was flexing and the mid 20hz range was actually loud and audible. Cant express enough how bad of amps they are.
