nobody likes rockford fosgate??

It really doesnt matter what is said on this thread. The only way to prove anything is to see it for yourself. (same goes for me) But if what I have seen on Steve's videos is any indicator of how well these amp perform. I will stick with everything I said.

I love how the amp was demoed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I also love how people are arguing with numbers.

FUNNY , I just came back from best buy and remembered how someone had mentioned that RF products sucked cause they sold them there. Well I also noticed that they sold Kicker as well, does that also mean that Kicker products ****.

JUST A THOUGHT

Your confusion is that you dont seem to understand what rms means. CEA would not have rated it like they did if it couldnt sustain that power over a long period of time.
Peak is the icing on the cake
I know what rms means. In fact, Im confident I knew what it meant before you even had a driver's license. So spare me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Im curious what this "long period of time" is that you are referring to. You seem to act quite knowledgeable, for someone who is just getting their information from Steve Meade videos.

Got my drivers license in 1985 and I had a stereo shop for ten years. What did you do.

I fail to see how people are laughing at Neil's math...it's dead on. Play a sine wave(continuous power) for more than 15-20 seconds and see what happens. By full power, I mean clamp the amp to see what kind of power it's putting out. Hell, Meade might not even need all of the power for his setup...maybe just 10-12k out of the 15k available, resulting is being able to use the amp longer for tones.

As stated earlier, the transient nature of music is what makes the 15k power rating possible.

I'd bet my life savings that after playing a sine wave for 30 seconds, or bass racing at full volume, a normal class D amp will lose a lower % of it's power than the RK15k would...it's simply not made to perform at continuous output for that long.

rockford fosgate is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced

What did I do in 1985? Not get my driver's licence that's for sure you old fvck! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Okay... you got me by 2 years.
Someone who had a shop for 10 years should know how irrelevant your peak power comment was to this discussion. Icing on the cake? Right.

I notice you only answered one portion of my reply. Gee, I wonder why...
