You should ask why they're able to produce ONLY "high end" amps and ONLY mediocre/ low end subs....

CRAZY, I hate to admit that your partially right(low powered subs) I have 2 T1000.1bd(rated at 1550W rms) and 2 T2's rated at 1000wrms, the only solution I can think of is somehow wiring 3 T2's into those 2 amps. I don't know if its possible

One side says the amp will be fine playing music,

The other side says the amp cant sustain full power for extended periods,

Both sides are correct but still arguing.

P.S. I don't like the newer RF subs (just my opinion) but their amps are rock solid. Bring back the HX2s.

FUNNY , I just came back from best buy and remembered how someone had mentioned that RF products sucked cause they sold them there. Well I also noticed that they sold Kicker as well, does that also mean that Kicker products ****.

I love my Rockford, have had many amps in between, but punch 150 was first about 10 years ago. Amps have always been pretty solid.

Yeah BB does not carry any kicker, only Circuit City carries Kicker, for major companies in that line, and i was the one that said RF was sold at BB and they ****, and I dont like kicker either, so you want me to say they **** I will to!

As I stated previously in this thread, RF did in fact produce/ship/sell lesser quality amplifiers through BB. The 800a2 vs 800aII. I do not know if they still use this practice, but yeah I lost alot of respect for them when they pulled that crap. Starting selling at BB? Who cares. But when they try and pass off second rate stuff as the same quality pieces their dealers sold, that was just bullshit.

And only having 1 set of 1/0 gauge power hook ups on that 15kw is a lil weird, you would think a amp of that nature would have atleast two, thats alot current flow threw one 1/0 gauge wire, to charge that thing back up, thats why most of our everyday 4000+watt amps have 2 or more 1/0 gauge power inputs!

Pioneer did the same thing when they were selling there cd players through Costco. Same model number, but the Costco unit didnt have RCA outputs or rear speaker level outs.
