nobody likes rockford fosgate??

Someone need to let CEA know that there ratings are wrong, just ask devildriver.

agreed, as seen in the video Meade took of Chickens Escalade those BTLs. It was very clear each one of those amps was only putting out 4000wrms as they were played for several minutes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I think Neil was suggesting that the 15kw rating on the amp somehow suggests that its the amps continous output when it clearly cannot be. Dont rip him a new one because he was debating the ratings as its suggested by the advertising perspective.

I just dont understand how Rockford could have gotten a patent on a "bunch of caps" (sarcasm)

I wonder if maybe, basic electronic 101 for amplifiers, might have a few different calculations for hybrid technology.

you do know ive already been playing with these amps for over 6 months now right?

you guys can say what you want. Go get 16,000 class A/B watts...... Get 2 batts max....even 3 if you want and 1 alternator. We can have a contest to see which system goes longer at full power without melting down. I got my money on the T15k.

(i say 2 batts and 1 alt because were talking 1 T15k)

i wouldnt want to run my tahoe 4 T4000.1's on 2 batts and 1 alternator for very long either and those are class D.

Thank you Steve, I dont see whats so hard to understand about this. As soon as you say this amp will last more than a couple burps at full power everyone here trys to argue "You cant change the laws of physics". I just dont get it, is it that hard to comprehend that this amp works and it works efficiently.
Id really love to see you add something useful/technical to this discussion before you act like you are the only one who has it all figured out here.
Neil laid out some specific numbers, the reply was "I work with it personally, your numbers ****". Well, maybe Neil's number's are wrong (and if so, its only due to him receiving incorrect data, his math is spot on), but clearly the math does not suggest what Steve, and in some ways RF, suggests. Again maybe Neil's data is wrong, but YOU personally have no idea, so please stop acting like you have it all figured out.

If its so simple as you keep saying, why dont YOU explain to us where Neil's math is incorrect? Very specifically will be fine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I wasnt trying to argue numbers or math, or laws of physics, just the simple fact that I saw one and I know it created a lot more power for a lot longer than anyone on here says it will.

That is all
It is hard for me to see how you know how much power it was putting out when you simply saw it in action. I remember at one point I used to think 2 12w3 were the shit. Just a thought

FAIL:laugh:
Fail? How so?

Unless you were measuring the output of the amps.... don't comment on how much power was being produced.

I just dont understand how Rockford could have gotten a patent on a "bunch of caps" (sarcasm)

Power doesn't change because you can store more of it. The only way it can produce its power is from caps, which will run out sooner or later.... That amp will not put out 15k watts all day long at full power.
