nobody likes rockford fosgate??

rockford fosgate is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced
Some what true but you cant forget JL prices:greedy: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Sorry you missed it, but the point in my peak power vs rms, was to point out that 15k is in fact the rms of the amp and not it full potential. This amp, according to Rockford can put out much more power on short burst than what is rated. Everyone here seems to think that it would have trouble putting out the 15k in any more than short burst. Now, I am not saying that I know this for a fact, cause like most of the population, I have yet to see one of these in action for myself.

ok what do you consider fair priceexample

T2 is about 350

T1000.1bd is about 380
Id like to know where a T2 is 350 my local dealer told me 850 for the 15 and 780 for the bd1000 to push it

Also the T2 doesnt hold an ice cube's cahnce in hell agianst a Memphis MOJO which is 650 and the MOJO 2500.1 is 1100

So you also talk about other amps' peak power as their "full potential" too? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
You are really excited about this product, aren't you? Im assuming you know better than to start a debate about peak power being an amp's actual 'potential output', and that your enthusiasm for this product has clouded your judgement. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

theres like 2 city blocks in downtown LA where you could find the T2 for no more than 380 and the t1000.1bd for no more than 400 with a 1 year warranty, and of course on EBAY their the same. Andto comment your about Memphis Mojo, I'm glad for you that you found better stuff than RF. So why are you inquiring on RF pricing.

But for 850 I could buy a T2 a T1000.1bd and maybe a 0gage kit

The reason im inquiring about the RF's is i cant stand to have the same system for more than 2-3 months and i used to have some old P2's and they were pretty good. So, i might try to find some more one day.

I started with the P3 and I though those where LOUD but about 4 months later they where just loud, after I was thinking of the t1 AND KNOWING MYSELF i skipped one step and went with the t2 now i wish they would come out with a T3 type with like 1500 or 2000w rms, cause the t1000 is actually rated at like 1500w rms

I sent an email to RF about making a sub that would compare with the solo-x and the Jackhammer and they never sent one back. But they should it would be high priced but a very good purchase.

Why are you arguing about what RMS Power is when there is no such thing?

The inaccurate term is used to describe a method of average or continuous power, depending on how you are rating it. RF's own literature tells you how much energy the caps can store at a time. The current supplied by the battery is not enough to provide power for the full 15kW rating, so the capacitors must supply the rest. But once this energy is drawn from the caps, they're empty...you're still limited by the current supplied by the battery.

I think someone asked where I got 350 amps from. Well, that's the specified max current draw, is it not?

How did they get that CEA-2006 certification anyways......

I called them and asked the tech support guy, he said that their was no need for something with more power. Its obvious that for car audio maniacs like myself, I think they should come out with a T3(1500rms) and maybe even a T4(2000rms)

You should ask why they're able to produce ONLY "high end" amps and ONLY mediocre/ low end subs....

That's a better question.
