It's not that small. You haven't been in the back of the shop, and I imagine for good reason.
The van is not jacked up. It's a wheel chair van with a odd floor setup.

It won't blow windows out, but I suspect it'll probably do a 50 or near it when it's done.

It takes him forever to build because the customer hasn't paid all of the deposit, and keeps changing his mind on what he wants done.

He also did not WANT to use those cheap *** speakers, but it's what the customer wanted. And he's using 6 of them, not 4.

#1 i like pioneer stuff so wasn't insulting it i know it'll do 150's no doubt., u haven't heard mine since i doubled power (he did when it was vibrating sunroof track horribly) #2 i was insulting shop but it is small (1 i worked at had show room and a entire ht living room) i know he has a work shop back there and a small show room and i know it's handicapped van i said so just don't understand the hostility, no one else here knows where it is lol.. wondered if guy had ever paid him,i was there when he was painting interior pieces..

Been on a winning streak lately gramps...(sarcasm).

Anyway, had a Town & Chrysler and the cabin is quite big. Would take a good bit of equipment and electrical to get really loud. Everyone's word of "loud" is different.

Minivans are notorious for weak transmissions. I'd be very nervous about a 2000 pound install in one.

6 of those pioneers should easily do 150 on 3600w... at least if the builder is worth a crap at all.

I've heard it about a lot of them over the years. Definitely not like truck or SUV suspension/tranny where some towing or weight is sort of expected. Engineers figure mom, dad, and a half dozen 10 year old soccer players for carrying capacity.

I didn't say you was insulting it, but as always, you have no F'ing clue what you're talking about. As I said, it will have SIX of them in it, not four like you said. Same thing with you saying it was lifted on bags...it's not lifted, not on bags, and you haven't a clue what you're talking about.

If you quadrupled power since I last heard it, it still wouldn't be impressive. If you'd quit screwing around with prefab garbage boxes, you're car probably would sound decent. If you're still running prefab, it's not loud, won't ever be loud, and doesn't sound good being not loud.

Because you've been in audio for 20+ years (I wouldn't believe it if I didn't remember you from back in the day), and you still don't know crap about it.

Because someone could be asking what riding mower is best, and you'd reply with "My pioneer sub and cheapass amp sounds loud and is awesome!".

Because you want me to hook my Term-Lab up to your car, but you're only willing to pay me if I can guess your score before metering...and only if that guess is higher than your guess. WTF man? Seriously?

You've also managed to pi$$ off the owner of the shop. You're the worst kind of customer. Go up there, pester the $hit out of him, tell him why he should start selling a brand he doesn't, and don't buy $hit from him. I'd venture to guess if you go back up there again, you won't like his response to you.

Honda mini-vans from 03 to 08ish have trans issues. I've heard 09 and up as well, but have yet to see as wide spread of an issue with them as the older ones.

Dodge vans, at least up until 08ish are awful. I've replaced a ton of those transmissions...many with under 50k miles.

Toyota minivans seem to have solid transmissions.

There's a local guy with a older Toyota Sienna with a 4th order wall in his. Can't remember if it's six 18's, or six 15's in it. Last time I saw it, it did 55's sealed on the dash.

sorry u hate pioneer and prefabs, i thought he said 4 and he said van was 'lifted" or something (i said bags) u getting mad over like 1 word in each sentence.. i'm horrible with names sorry., and if u didn't want to meter it coulda said so in the pm., if i just wanted to pay to get get it metered i would idk that much., again i know it's not what ya'll would call loud i got less in my whole system than u do in your door pods.. promise won't mention u or that shop again and when i'm ready to get a atomic sub i'll find another dealer..
