Nitro R/c Cars And Trucks

track like that would be what 1/3 to 1/4 lap? they actually respond to what you make it do...
LOL they did away with the quad jump here it was 32' from first crest to the 4th i could barely clear it then Al Horne would clear it by 4-6'..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif was hard on the chassis

It's a blistering fast track with average lap times in the 26-27 second range. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

IF you have never driven a 1/8 buggy before. I would probably start out with a truggy. Truggies are a lot more forgiving of mistakes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i can agree with that much easier not to tank on a landing too.

cen is a good manufacturer they are nationwide but are regional in popularity. http://www.rctech.net is where alot of cen drivers and reps talk. very helpful. they tend to get into it with losi guys often on there LOL especially on net views of national event on rc live. their truggy would be a good start the buggy is a tad heavy though.

cons are:

Weak axles, no reverse (if you are looking for a truck with reverse), small wheel hexes (prone to stripping) Thats about all I can think of. Other than that, its a HUGE, fun truck!

what are the cons of the team losi aftershock??
i was just shown the new schumacher fusion .28, i remember the old .21 version, that was crazy, but holy shit, this one can go over 80!!!! maybe i should get it ahha
if you like small look into a ofna jammin crt .5. those might not do 80 but they are faster 0-40 than anything else offroad i have seen...a guy up here put the smack down on losi 8's on the oval with it (was pretty funny). my choice out of what was said would be a ofna jammin crt rtr. aftershock is an lst2 with more plastic parts and a different body. only advantage to it would be going over big rocks but its also top heavy so it would also be prone to rolling over on its side. If you like the Cen stuff by all means give them a good look.

If I were to buy a MT today for unser 500, it would be a Revo 3.3 or MGT (and have $$ left over)

Buggy would be an OFNA whatever you could afford (add in at least $50 for a new steering servo, because RTR servos on buggies are JUNK)

or Associated RC 8 RTR BUT thats 499

Truggy... I dont think 500 is enough to get a decent truggy, could be wrong though!

buggys and truggys look into most your ofna's. MT's for bashin savage or mgt. Ive owned most of the **** cars out and those are your toughest. If you want i have many photos of them.
