Newbie that needs some help...

I get all caught up in all these different types of amps and Subs...

Im not hugely into car stereos but I do want to get a sub to add some low notes to my car stereo.... I have a head unit that can support a sub and the Sub I have is a 10" Cerwin Vega 200 watt RMS @ 4 OHM's DVC... Im looking to get a suitable amp thats not gonna blow the sub... and I read somewhere its better to have the AMP overpowering the sub.... because when an amplifier has to deliver more power than it can, it will damage speakers quickly... I would like to avoid this.... hehe

Anyways all I am looking for is a good amp that can power a DVC 200w rms sub... And it doesn't have to be the best of the best... but I also dont want a cheapo! I would really appreciate some suggestions!

what is your budget?

if you aint looking for the "best of the best" id reccomend either something from DEI (viper, orion)
