Newbie question

I think.well i bought a sony hu. model cdx-gt250mp... have no amps just hooked to four coax speakers. All speakers work fine when on tuner but put a cd in and only front channels work. I have hooked up lots of stereos but not sue if this one needs something turned off and manual doesn't show jack compared to its menu? purchased at brands mart. even returned for an even exchange since i originally bought a gt-230. u guessed it same thing. thanks

i know its not a top of the line receiver but two different models do the same thing? any help u guys

This is a stretch, but perhaps the front/rear fader settings are different when you switch between a radio signal and a CD. Make sure all your front/rear fader settings are set at zero in Cd mode. Just a wild guess, but who knows.

yeah, thanks it is strange but 2 different units. other broken hu didnt do this. figured it had to be something with a sony explode. i dunno
