Newbie Question (AUX Port)

I have an Kenwood KDC-217. Dumbing it down, how would I install an auxiliary port ti it. I do not want too use an Dmitry transmitter. Where would I wire it?

Why not just buy a newer used head unit with aux.

I cant see any place on that unit to add any type of aux your better off spending $150 or less on new unit that does aux in, usb and bluetooth without the trouble of figuring out where or how to find out that it sounds crappy or didnt work. If you have to pull HU anyway replace it with something that gives you what your looking for.

If there's no standard aux port it's basically not possible to add one.

Some older head units had adapters you could buy to add one. But it was mainly the higher end ones

kenwood has new hu with usb/aux/cd fors around 80 if that.

And by the looks of it that head unit doesn't appear to be "higher end" but looks can be deceiving and I've been wrong before
