Ok...so I installed a AVH-P3300BT Pioneer along with a phoenix gold RSD65CS component set. 5.25" rear door infinity reference speakers, and a concept 2 channel amp to power the components.

Now that I have them all in I need some guidance on getting these set before I move to the next install of subwoofer.

amp specs:

I am powering this set of of a Concept 2 channel CC-1252 amp

Here are its specs:

4 Ohm Stereo Power (RMS): 125W X 2

4 Ohm Mono Power (RMS): 400W X 1

2 Ohm Stereo Power (RMS): 200W X 2

Signal-to-noise ratio: 100 dB

Frequency Response: 5 Hz - 50 KHz

Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.05%

Input Sensitivity: 200mV-4V

Length: 11.82"

Width: 11.66"

Height: 2.37"

Continuously variable 0 - 18dB Bass Boost

Built-in continuously variable 18dB per octave crossover, from 50Hz to 250Hz

Platinum Connectors

rear speaker specs:

SPECIFICATIONS

General

Power Handling, RMS 45 watts per channel

Sensitivity 90dB @ 2.83V

Frequency Response 80Hz - 20kHz

Mounting Depth 2-1/8"

and I am sure some of you are familiar with the PG RSD65 components.

I need help getting the power to the compenents that make them "happy" and sound great. I hear they like 100-150 rms. I would like to do 100 if possible.

Crossover that came with the components are mounted on the door, and set to 0db on the switch that has +2 or 0.

I have the components ran to the concept amp with all crossovers turned down on the amp..HPF and LPF. the switch is set to FULL on the amp. gain is barely up any.

Where do I begin. I am pretty sure I have all my settings on the pioneer to flat...unless I missed something. Subwoofer setting is turned off. all other settings are 0 ...loud is off....bass boost is off..HPF is off, etc.

The infinity rear speakers are just running off headunit power. HELP

The HU only turns up to 40...so I am guessing I need to set it at 30? I am not sure what it clips at or if it even does.

you need to get a digital multi meter and them read the sticky on the forum for setting the gains,or have someone who knows how to do it,set them for you.i'm guessing that your deck is a 4 volt pre out ,so if you are going to try to do it by ear ,dont, sounds like you have no idea what the distorted speakers would sound like anyway .not saying this to be an azz , just saying like you said ,you are a noob at this.get the dmm and read the sticky it will help save your speakers.

I already have a DMM...I forgot to mention that. ...and yes it has 3 preouts at 4 volt....one front, one rear, and one sub. Fronts are being used for the component...i have RCA in the sub pre out but nothing hooked up yet. i left the rear pre out empty since i am powering those off the HU.
