newbie crimper question

Hi all,

I'm going to install my first car stereo. I think I got enough info from watching youtube tutorials. but one thing I'm not certain is, I got some butt connectors, however I do not have a crimper. so my question is, is a crimper necessary or a plier (maybe a skinny nose one?) can do the job? if I do need a crimper, can someone point me to a page where I can get one. hopefully it's not too expensive.

Get a crimper. Most crimpers come with wire strippers built in. they are like 10 bucks at walmart(although walmart versions ****). It should still do the job.

This one is much better 9-1/2" Wire Crimping Tool if you have a harbor frieght
