...You rent a unit? Its secure public storage. They just came in with a van and a moto trailer and never left...

Called my insurance, they wont do or pay me anything until the investigation is over. Police have one lead and its not the punk-*** from work...but a former friend of mine who steals shit.

tell them you want them to talk to the kid more about the incident (from work) than what they have already. mor ethan likely though, if it was him...he wont come to work, and if he balls to do that he wont act right around you.

The storage place is. Camera on the entrance, as well as a keyed entry and required pin code. The guard checks that the person is still paying and that the code checks out and then opens the gate. they = the cops? Yea, they already pulled that info, hence the lead. If they were dumb enough to use their real names and a real credit card then the investigation wont last too long...

Ummm...If the security guard was worth a shit he would have 1.) written down the tag number. 2.) Inquired about the van as it was leaving.

Come on, Van comes in with trailer, no big deal.... You come in at night, about 20min later Van that came in with trailer a long time ago and never left leaves with your bike with no trace of you.

Do you have to have a security code to leave (at our old storehouse you did)? Does each person have a different number? If so they may have the name of whoever left at that time. You may be way ahead of me here. Really this is quite serious. 1.) Grand Theft 2.) Assult with a potentiall deadly weapon 3.) Hospital bills/Personal suffering. This isnt just someone jacked your bike, you where assaulted. If the cops give up on it like many time they do I would get on their ***, and if they do not prevail sue the security complex as it happened on their property and it is sapposed to be secure. Worst case you wont be able to recover money for the bike from them (fine print on contracts is a *****), but that is what insurance is for...You still have a case on being cracked over the head with a bat.

Oh and next time keep your helmet on mang.

Well, I dont think the night guards are worth a shit to be honest. All of 'em are old cops in their late 50's that just need the work. And yea, you need only the security code to leave so it'd be easy to cross reference. And this case wont be over looked easily. They're not letting my case slip through their glaze coated fingers. And I did have my helmet on but they got me right in the plastic shield and it gave way. Got a few cuts around the eyes but nothing directly in the eyes.
