new vehicle color: white,silver, or black? opinions please

im getting ready to go purchase my next vehicle. i will be completing the transaction on my 06 silverado right after labor day.

my new vehicle will be an 05-07 pontiac grand prix gt. i want it with 45k miles or less, looking to keep it at 32k-35k miles really. i would like it gm certified but if its not, not a real biggy as the 3800 engines are amazing. it needs to me in near mint condition inside and out. other then that im open to pretty much all of the grand prixs i see. its not a biggy for me to have leather as i actually prefer cloth, and i do not want the upgraded sound system. im choosing the grand prix because i need something that gets better gas mileage then my truck, ecspecially since i am driving around 500 miles a week, it is sporty but it doesnt classify as a sports car so that will bring down my insurance, and something with a little cheaper payment. the biggest thing that set me on a grand prix is that it has the all famous 3800 engine in it, and i have had nothing but good things with my bonneville that had that in it. it has a great lifespan, durability, and is fairly easy to work on.

now here is where im torn. the color. every vehicle i have ever had has been black, and when you have a clean black vehicle, there is nothing else more beautiful in the world. but they get dirty very easily, and water spots show alot easier. another thing is any nick, scrath, or dents in the vehicle tend to show a little more with a black vehicle.

now i have been considering different options. im not much of a color guy so here are the colors im considering.

black

silver

white

which would you guys pick if you had the choice?

I don't like white, 'cause it's hard to keep clean. I don't like black, because they get extremely hot, and depending on where you live, hard to keep clean. I'd choose silver, not too hard to keep clean, and the model you want looks great in silver.

why? have you ever had a pontiac, i absolutely loved my bonneville. it was a black bonneville and i loved it so much i made it my screen name.

every test drive and ones that i have driven i have loved. they are comfortable, good handling and acceleration, 24-30 mpg cant be beat with a car that looks like a sports car. all there controls are friendly. it has a big enough trunk for my next system. i love pontiacs

gunmetal is a very nice color, but not my style on vehicles

pontiacs are horrible with residual value. don't hold up. guzzle gas (except the 4cyc models). bad crash tests.

i like having the re-assurance of the color i love. its just so hard for me to steer away from black, its very sharp when kept clean, and looks great on these models

every vehicle i have had has been black and i love it, but i hate having a dirty vehicle or ones where the scratches show easily. but im thinking thats the choice im gonna run with

3800 engines are good.

but oil leaks are a pain in the *** and quite common with them.

Seems like you already know of the maintenance of a black vehicle. Black looks very sexy when clean and really shiny. It has a nice reflection to it. Black looks even better when the windows match the car, blacked out.
