Here's what I know for sure, you are lying.
How do I know? Well hmm, the story started out as an $8k "black market" 145 hp chip from Italy made specifically for your truck, that nobody knows about, and that you couldn't even locate info on. Not to mention all the obvious receipt lies. Now the story is its a New Zealand engine management system with its brand name in HUGE LETTERS across the top of it. Clearly you are just trying to find something, anything, that could sort of maybe kinda back up your ridiculous story. Nice try... not.

no no... ok the first time i posted about it it was strictly from memory, my dad hadn't said anything about it... and he DID say that it would've normally cost 8K but he got it for around 6700... then i asked my stepmom and she said around 6500, so i figured that my dad was likely to exadgerate that price so i went with 6500... italy is neither here nor there, i thought he said italy one time but then again he could've been thinking just europe and said italy i remember him saying italy but there is a great possibility he was mistaken... what recipt lies? and i simply found that chip looking for my chip... i wasn't saying that that one is it, i was saying something like that is capable... narrowing the arguement down so that the only thing i have to prove is that i own something like that... which i'm trying to do

You and your daddy have no ****ing clue about engines. It is physically impossible for a chip or engine management system to add 111hp without MAJOR modification. (i.e S/C, Turbo, Nitrous, major cam/head work) Besides that, your truck is hideous, and your a complete moron.

If i still lived in VA and had my old truck i would have loved to come down and embarass your shit truck.

18 years don't mean shit one way or the other... in my 18 years i've had more experiences than alot of people 25+ have... but thats my personal opinion of my self... see when you said that you automatically implied that you or others are smarter than i am because you, or they are older... i simply never relate a persons intelligence or knowledge to their age, only their maturity... all i do is post my opinion and when you have no arguement that atacks my opinion, you move to my age... that... is maturity

The reason that you probably can't find any info on that chip is because your dad was the only moron to spend $6500 on an engine management system for a STOCK engine. For that price you could drop in a new engine with 200+ more HP...but no, your dad, being the living, breathing, car guru that he is, chose to buy a top secret italian engine management chip made for the government that adds 111hp and a whopping +24mph top speed to the dodge 318 engine.

I know tons of close families here in Wisconsin (mine included). As a matter of fact, not a day goes by that I don't speak to at least two members of my non-immediate family face to face. It was my impression that the rundown ghetto-*** towns of the South were the places filled with kids who don't know their fathers.

The link you posted to in no way confirms anything about your story is true, or even possible.

Lastly, what you still fail to grasp is, your/your dad's entire story is laughable to begin with. You said earlier your dad got the 318 specifically because he could do alot to it. Here's a big bite out of a clue sandwhich for you cot.... for $8k, or even $6700, you could do alot of other things, to just about any other engine, and experience more performance increases. So even if your dad's lie was truth, it wouldn't paint a very good picture of his intelligence. But he's not here to defend himself, I respect that... so I'll just assume this entire story was a fabrication by yourself, being an 18 y/o that hasn't been around enough engines to know what he's talking about yet.

I figured I would let him dig himself in a little. You cant put a chip in that computer. I have been working at Chrysler/Dodge dealerships for around 8 years. The system doesnt work like that. Once the vin is burned into the computer you cant change anything in the 'chip'. The only thing you can get close to a chip is a little module the plugs between the PCM and wiring harness which doesnt change alot at all really, only other option is to get a programmer for the computer and change things through the diagnostic port. Even then there is really only so much you can change. There is no way either of those would add anywhere near 100hp. Only way possible would be some kind of forced induction, even then a programmer wont change enough things to make up for the difference in the air/fuel mixture unless you are running like under 5psi. After that you would have major mods to make to the engine and fuel system. So basically, you are full of shit.
