AQ 1200 is $250

Fi Q is around $250 can go ported or sealed.

SI mag is a great SQ sub that can get plenty low and stil be loud when you need it to be around $250 as well.

great cheaper subs are Kicker CVR and PG RSD's

both are well under budget and ashoudl be loud enough for the average street beater.

But there are plenty of people on here that are completely satisfied with just one. It's entirely a matter of personal taste. LOL i think that answers my question lol. My lil sub is only getting 320 watts as it is and already trying to tear up my car. I think 1000 should suffice lol. As far as the type of enclosure... I really need help deciding this...... Please can someone help me? Pros? Cons????

Ported all the way. I have heard plenty of both and almost always prefer ported unless space is your biggest concern. One sub will be plenty for what you're used to. Tune it low for good sound quality and you will be very happy. What you tune to will depend upon the sub that you choose, but I would suggest around 30hz for a very nice sounding enclosure all the way down to the deepest musical bass that you will normally come across.
