But a 40 lb sub in a 50lb box is going to be a lot harder to remove if he needs to. Especially by himself.

Pulling a big, heavy, akward box out of the trunk of a compact car can be a hassle. Has nothing to do with being weak. Quit being a dick. You have no interest in helping the OP and anyone here can see that.

I have no problem lifting heavy objects. But pulling a box out of a trunk can be a hassle because many of them are too deep to just pull straight up. They are heavy and akwardly proportioned. Plus you don't want to just jerk them out, because you will end up scratching your paint.

I'm not heated at all. You are just retarded, plain and simple. We all know what your objective is here, and it's not to help the guy. Your continued posting in here won't do anything to help your case. You really should just duck out and wait for the guy to make his decision. If he chooses your stuff, great. If not, you shouldn't have any trouble selling it to someone else. I'm just trying to give the guy as much info as possible to help him decide what he wants and what compromises he will have to make. This is all stuff that needs to be considered before he drops a bunch of cash on a new system. If you have something helpful to say, say it. If not, go away.

"Oh yea, this setup will be better than type r's by far. This company started out in 2006, but progressing very well. RD has a few world records now as well. As for the 2 Classics and 1000D, that was the first setup I used with them to see if I was interested in coming on board with them. The Classics are probably one of the best 500 rms subs I have ever played with, not too mention SQ was awesome. I am a sales rep for RD, so I get the products a little cheaper and can help some guys out. As for wires, I can get you a 4 gauge kit as well, maybe even included with the $1000, I will have to see what headunit you want."

For 1000 you can get alot. First i would say start with somr sort of decent HU. You can usually find a good used one on here or go buy a new one. I had a Kenwood X889 and it was awesome. Maybe something like an Alpine 9856 would also work very well. I would run all 0/1 Guage wire into a distro block with 4 Guage coming off. I prefer Knukonceptz wire but thats just me. As for door speakers i would say go with a good componet set up from with a amp on it and be done. I had a rear speakers in my Trailblazer and i blew them and didnt even notice for a week. LOL. Now subs and amps there arre many, Fi, RE, DD, ED, and many other online brands as well as the usual JL, Kicker, Alpine, RF, Pioneer and such. If you just want something decent get a dual 12in prefab ported box and 2 12in Comp VR's, Type R's, or something of the sort can be had for a decent price if you shop around. As for amp hell you could find a decent 1200Watt for like 150-300 i think. I bought my Directed D1200 for 75 at a pawn shop. Just look around. There are alot of people on here to help out and give u info. Just dont worry about the a-holes on here that might bust your chops. GL with the build.

Good stuff, but wouldn't do it. Once again, that's only a substage for $1000. That means you'd have to spend even more money buying an HU, speakers for your front stage and rear fill, a second amp, deadening, wiring, build materials, etc. I think you should focus on getting a balanced system together first, then upgrading certain parts as you go along and have more money.

Yes. You need 2 channels on the fronts and 2 on the rears. If you go with the amp I suggested, you would have the sub amp and the four-channel in one chassis. Same goes for any other 4-channel. But if you go with a dedicated mono sub amp, you will have to buy another amp if you want to upgrade the stock speakers
