what do you consider a budget ? i have many amps just need to know what you wanna spend .

well I would prefer something that will put out enough power for the single sub.

Im pretty sure I dont want a 5000w amp and neither a 300w amp.

is there a rule to how much is too much on an amp to be greater than the sub?

ex: can I get a 2000w amp? or striclty 1400rms at 1 ohm stable?
