I’ve never ran skar amps but I’ve heard good things and then I’ve heard a lot of bad things because they don’t like Kevin. I seen videos on YouTube and skar seems legit. Dyno tests and subwoofer ****. I thought Kevin jocked a lot of Jacobs ideas and designs and incorporated them into skar.

you are paying way too much for extremely low range underperforming weak gear.

can you install a real amp instead of that overpriced power pack thats weak as shit? Get a pioneer gm 8704 instead for your mids and highs. If you were planning on using that power pack for your subs, thats completely horrible DONT do that lol. Get a taramps md 1800.1 instead. skip the type S speakers, extremely mediocre, weak sound quality, weak loudness minimal midbass. For that price range range, jbl, polk or infinity would do better than even the type R speakers. For 150 you are better off getting dayton HO subwoofers which are in every way superior to the type S subwoofers for the same price. The box is absolute trash. Never buy a sound ordinance box, poor design with shit port area and airspace aka box too small, port too small, bass sound quality and output will be complete shit.

15 years ago I ran alpine subs and speakers, type R subs and type R components. They were decent then in their price point, but according to many many people, alpine is not what they used to be. seems that they are relying on their namesake these days.
