New System

So, I am looking into getting a new system for my 4runner. I already have an ok pioneer deck so I won't need to replace that.

I have between 1500 and 2000 to spend on everything. I want to get something that is clean and loud, I don't care about huge bass, I just want the sound quality to stay crisp when it gets loud. I searched and did not find anything regarding full setups and what the best for the money would be. I listen to a lot of rock and some house and very little rap.

What would you guys recommend for a good component system and the amp to go with it? I have heard that Pioneer PRS's sound good. What would work well in the rear? As far as subs go, I was looking into the Jl 12" w3. What amp would go best with this sub, and would this sub be good for the kind of music I listen to?

idmax for subs

focals or scanspeak for mids and highs

arc audio for amps

With that money you can do alot better than a w3.

Get a Fi Q or idmax. Focal makes good comps...if you want to go cheaper Phoenix gold rsd's and Cadence cwm6's are also good.
