New System Setup

Hi, I just bought a new system... Ive installed one before... but this one a much higher end system than my other...

System specs.

AMP: Audiobahn A2300HCT

Sub: Audiobahn Immortal 15" AWIS15P

Cap: Audiobahn 1 Farad

Wires: 2GA 80AMP fuse Power Acoustik

How do I set it to 1ohm?

How would I wire that on a 2 channel amp?

Yeah get a larger fuse, probably about 120a. What does that amp Really do?

Take the fucking cap back, and buy a battery.

Yeah take the cap back if your trslly gonna use it, since you dont have a battery or the big 3 what so ever. Why: The cap isnt big enough to even try, and since you want it a 1 ohms at 2400 rms expect huge light dimming on your stock. 1 farad equals a band aid for 1000 watts. so your missing 1400 buddy. Too big of a system for stock. AT LEASt get a battery

just saying if you want a nice system you would be better off starting from scratch and taking tips from people who have already been there and done that. My first system ever was an audiobahn, and it was the biggest waste or $250 ever

totally agree because my first system was audiobahn to, and they pretty much blow

btw that amp, even at 80% efficiency, will only push 1500wrms or so and is known for having problems with being true 1 ohm stable

Sucks I come on here and all people have to just say my system is a piece of shit... I just wanted to know a simple questions and out of the 11 posts I didn't get an answer.

What they list does not always equal what an amp should put out

The sub sucks because it's Audiobahn, though i do remember they did make some non-flaming Immortal that were pretty good. Yours...is not it.

Your amp sucks because it is the same reason as to why your sub sucks.

they benchmark there own amps and can pretty much say it will put out any power they want to say it will. The sub is made poorly and has a good chance of failing and falling apart. Also even if that amp did put out 2400wrms your electrical could never sopport that stock and you would end up clipping your amp or sub and blowing one of the two or both. Sorry I wasnt here to bash you but to just say if you could return them I would otherwise install them and play them and maybe upgrade in the future if they dont meet your needs.
