New System Plans

Hi everyone I'm looking to get some input on my current Stereo plans for a new system. I have an '07 Trailblazer that I'll be putting this in. My budget was ~$500 on 1 Sub, ~$500 on Mono Amp, ~$500 on a Head Unit.

Subwoofer NOT SURE?? LOOKING FOR A 12" DVC 1 OHM SUB TO MATCH AMP..

Zapco ST-1500XM 1500W RMS @ 1-Ohm Mono D Amp

 

Headunit: $359.99

Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS 7" w/ (3) 4 Volt Outputs

 

Amp Wiring Kit: $59.99

How's it look? Any thing you'd change? Recommendation for a sub?

I don't know anything about zapco. For just 1 sub and a $500 I'd get a level 4 DC Audio or a level 5 if ya can.

First of all to match your amp you need a dvc 2 ohm sub to end up at a 1ohm load. Second once your at 1000rms 1/0 is what you should get for wiring. And third Have you got a budget for electrical? That's where people end up skimping out and it's one of the most crucial parts. You'll likely need an upgraded battery maybe a second one.

@Dmeyer07; If your electrical can handle atleast 1500Wrms, then I have a used 12" Fi Q I could sell you. Only a year old and still very good condition. Fully loaded all options including cooling, extra spiders, pf chamfers, low qts, internal lead, Ice blue dustcap... It is dual 2 ohm so you can wire it to a 1 ohm load. Asking for 200 + shipping.
