New system ,no sub response, please help!

So have the amp and sub installed and nothings coming out of the sub? I have power to amp,the lights are on, its a mono system, I've double and triple checked the wiring and its correct,have the remote gain lit at the dash,I've tried 2 head units,same,I hooked up another speaker to amp to rule out bad sub,nothing,the HU is set correctly to sub mode, only thing I can think of is no low level outputs from HU or amp isn't putting out,fuses are good all around,everything is new except the Head units,both power the rest of speakers just fine,have my son helping and he's scratching his head to! how can I test the HU sub output? any Ideas? see anything in these pic's?

Back of HU,every other function works perfect on both Head units.

just to test with - do you have a mp3 plug cord with rca left and right on the other end ? walmart usualy has them for about $7

then you can try going directly i pod to rca L and R on the amp to rule out headunit output.

altho i pod usualy has low signal streingth so you might need at least 3/4 volume setting on i pod to get any good signal streingth to amp.

Great idea,I might have one,or get one at work. weird that both HU could have bad sub outs?

Ok,hooked the Ipod directly to amp and I can hear it at the sub so guess I'm not getting sub out at HU,both of them? Hmmm.now what? both say on schematics they have it,both pioneer units from 2009

I think the sub out is in off mode,will mess with it some more,crazy Pioneer.

Will inspect the back panel for bad solder at the low level jacks ,hey how about a low line converter if the sub output jacks are bad,just tap into a working speaker,anyone use one of those? here's one

My son just read this in the manual,specs,maximum power output of HU,50wx4

50wx2/4ohm +70wx1/2ohm(for subwoofer)

what is that?

Still can't get Sub working, put in a CD same,here's my schematic,only thing I can figure out is both of my HU have bad SW outputs??? strange???

Have you tried a dmm on the sub outs of the hu's? I believe they are 4v (ac) for that model. You could also run the dmm on the amp output (speaker) to see if you're getting voltage out.
