I'm planning on putting an entirely new system in my 1995 toyota tacoma and am completely new to the world of car audio.

I've been looking into the following:

Head Unit - Alpine cde-102

Speakers - Two infinity reference 6 1/2" to plop in the doors

Subs - Two IDmax 12"

Amp - Nakamichi PA-1500

I'm looking on some input on whether or not this would be a good set-up or not. Also wondering...since i'm not going to be using an amp for the door speakers (that ok?) would the subs drown out all my mids and highs making it not sound very good? If so could you recomend some good alternative good SQ subs that would work with the speakers. And do you think I should use a sealed or ported box for the small air space I have availiable in my truck?

My ears are looking for a clear sounding deep bass that can get somewhat loud, but I also want it to sound natural and work with my un-amplified speakers if possible.
