New System, Having a lot of problems.

I'm not familiar with the phase control, I would just adjust it while playing, to see if anything changes. I believe it's pretty much the same thing as swaping + and - around on your speakers. If I remember the adjustment goes to 180.
Alright thanks. I will play around with it tomorrow. I'm gettin mixed answers from my buddy now on the sub wiring. I believe he has the pos and neg crossed between subs. Im going to yank it all out and re-wire at 2ohm a piece, not a fan of 1ohm myself, esp. on his elect. set-up I would be cautious.

no they would just be out of phase, if the subs are dvc4 ohm subs then 1 ohm, 4 ohm or 16 ohms is the only option so 1 ohm is what you want. recheck the entire install.

is the amp new, or if not do you know if it even worked before ?
He purchased the amp off of ebay I believe, it was listed as new but has some surface scratched so im guessing a re-man?

I'm completely re-doing the install tomorrow, this is what working at night gets ya.

Would wiring both at 4 ohms be better than wirin them seperate at 2 ohm each?

you cant wire 2 dvc 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms it has to be 1 ohm only the amp connections are combined inside the amp, it has 2 pos and 2 neg for ease of wiring.
Sorry man was not thinking at all on that one!For some reason I was thinking i'm wiring them seperate, but their both hooked to the same mono amp, i feel dumb now.
