well just redid my install (new ride) and my battery or alt failed or something... i should have done the install in steps and tested it each time to help find the problem but of course i didnt, nor did i test my battery or alt before.. ughh
any way 2000 ford explorer 135 amp stock alt big 3 in 1/0
1/0 running back to amp pushing 1900 watts at 1 ohm.
voltmeter in dash always seamed low for me before install but a lot of fords are that way, after install it got even worse and 2nd time driving it (to work of course as i was late) 1 by 1 my accesseries turned off, fuzz buster and radio, both coming from ignition wire to back of head unit, then ac, then speedometer, and techometer, then my entire car died, disconnected everything babied it home but now (hours later) battery rests at 10.6 and idles at 11.6. how would i tell whats wrong here? because im starting to think i should charge my battery up to 12.6 then test it before i start to assume stuff is wrong
