Nothing in those specs indicate it would 'stomp' on a xxx. In fact, the specs show the two subs matching up pretty closely in terms of displacement. The main question in my head is would this new sub have the flat BL curve (and all the goodies that come with that) like the xxx does.i was talking to some guy on aim some while ago and he told me about this sub when i was goingto buy the xxx15 i got... he said that they would stomp the xxx and they would be around $325-350 but will go up awhen they come out, he said he could of sold it to me for less if i bought one there on the spot, i think he was bullshitting, bu now i see this come out.. nice.
Doubt it. That top plate isn't near think enough facilitate that kind of throw with a xbl motor. That doesn't mean they aren't using any other means to achive a flat bl, but you can sure as hell tell its not identical to a xxx.Nothing in those specs indicate it would 'stomp' on a xxx. You speak the truth. My comments on it matching up to the XXX closely were based on specs we do know: displacement, price etc, not based on specs we dont know: the motor design. And yes, the top plate doesn't look tall enough for xbl^2 I agree. I pretty much assumed it didn't have it, but like you said, could employee another BL optimizing method. *shrug* Doubt it however.Doubt it. Sorry, that statement wasn't directed toward you, it was directed towards the ones that see a black cone and a 12 spoke and think its a xxx, even tho it has triple stacked mags, thin top plate and high roll surround. You speak the truth.
