New speaker weird bass distortion

The impedence of the average aftermarket speaker is approximately 4 ohms. Any aftermarket head unit will have no problem supplying power to a speaker of that impedance. The only way to effectively change the impedance would be to change the speaker in exchange for a speaker with a different impedance. I did, however, read once, on this forum, that you can soak the speakers in water to change the impedance as well. Use this method at your own disgression. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
