well from what i think its where you mess with the song to make it louder, there are other people on here that can explain it better... i am new to it but i have done a couple songs to no what i am doing...

Basically you slow a song down and add different touches to it. (Refer to the wiki link)

Around here (from what I've seen) there is a slight variation to "Chopped and Screwed." Instead of chopping the song, guys like to increase the level of the sub bass frequencies.

just use a song with existing loud bass. i dont like the chopped part. so i just slow them down and play with the eq.
