New Shoes for old school stang........

now who's right i knew there was no such thing as a 352 in 73 there was in the early mid 60's i know vehicles beter than some may think
Obviously not, because even FORD(you know, the people who MADE IT) says a 351C is a small block................................

you are correct i saw the typo and waited.... he never caught it....the 351C/J not the 351C was the biggest factory option in 1973 for a mustang.

irregardless he does not have the car the auction is still active and you can also just call the number //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

its the same displacement, the main difference was port shape and compression.

it is possible that it is a real Z28 but no way to tell in a photo
I can tell you it is a fisher body T-top camaro tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif which in 78 was very rare... I know I have a factory Original 78 Fisher we are trying to restore..

95% of all T-top F bodies were junk hurst ...

but i can promise you 1 thing for sure....

you will not find a pic of a "real" 75/76 Z28 unless you have a pic of mine that has been sitting in Utah in a garage at my families house under a cover for the last 15 years..because they only made 10 as a tester to the "Type LT" that debuted in 1977 when the Z re-emerged...
its a 79 with a 78 hood....a little over 60,000 original miles

the cj had higher compression but still only made 266 bhp the c made around 215 iirc..

either way, he doesnt have the car...and a 351 wasn't the biggest engine ford made in 1973... but it was 1 of the worst by a longshot that they ever made..

it is like we try to tell all the wannabe ricers around here:

no replacement for displacement...

351c is a great engine chevy boy.

but youre semi-correct, the only replacement for cubic inches, is cubic dollars.

chevy boy? lol

we have classic cars from all 3 of the original domestic makers but I do prefer my ford eater chevy cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but my cousins 8.5 second 94 stang is pretty dang sweet too... ( but it is a track only car... our 9.5 second 2002 street driven Firebird is funner...so is my 11 second resto project 78 Z...)

and the only truly good ford engines for going fast are FE engines as far as classics go...otherwise a W or M block due to the thicker head decks ( more milling options to boost compression ) and thicker block castings ( bigger bore makes more cubes = mopowah! )
