New Setup Idea GOOD or OVERKILL?

this is what im thinking

subs

(2) 12" Kicker cvr dual 2 ohm

(2) 10" Kicker cvr dual 2 ohm

amp

(1) Hifonics BXi 2006D

and im going to wire them to a 1 ohm load and with all four subs it should need like 1400w rms and the hifonics does like 2000w at 1 ohm and i heard they were overrated a bit so i think that should be good and probably like a 2 farad cap does that sound good? all going into a 2001 chevy silverado reg cab

well i was thinking the 10's would hit in the higher tones (tiny bit but still somehting) that the 12's wouldnt be able to hit so my best bet is to just get 4 12's but i dont think i have enough air space box - TD 6"x BD 9"X W 55", H 15" does that sound like enough air space for 4 12's and also what amp to run with 4 12's and if that box doesnt have enough airspace would 4 10's be more suitable?

/ 4 = .42 cf/sub

I would go with two 10s that liked small airspace. Assassin perhaps?

im about to make a rough drawing of my box in sketch up and i'll post it up my question is i want a port like this one

you might want to chunk someone a few bucks and let them design you a box

Well that depends on port area.

With your space, I would say 2 12s would be your best bet for SPL. You have about 4.3 cubic feet of airspace total and if you take away about 1 cubic feet for a port, that leaves about 3.3 for subs. I wouldn't try to cram 4 12s or even 10s in an enclosure that small.
