new problem

ok i got everyhing hooked up subs and amp. AMP WILL NOT POWER IN CD MODE OR AUX MODE ONLY IN THE TUNER.I dont know what i did wrong. i think it might have to do with the blue turn on wire maybe maybe i spliced into the wrong wire on the head unit. someone help me please!

1st guess is going to be you hooked the remote turn-on lead to the power antenna activation output on the head unit instead of the remote accessory activation.

Specific labeling varies from one manufacturer to the next....what kind of head unit are we talking about?

Are there two blue wires coming out of the wiring harness?

One with a white stripe and one without?

yes 1 with a white stripe and 1 blue

If my guess is correct you have your amp's remote lead connected to the one without the white stripe and if my assumption is correct then you need to swap it to the wire that does have a white stripe down the side of the wire's insulation. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That should cure your problem. If my suppositions are accurate what you've done is connect that remote lead to the power antenna output which only carries current when the receiver is in tuner mode.
