Hey guys, i'm new here, and relatively new to the car audio scene. I was recommended these subs,

they look pretty good to me, i have a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee. What amp would you recommend for that sub, at a reasonable price, preferably under 200 dollars? I'm also looking at getting these speakers http://cgi.ebay.com/CADENCE-CWM6-KIT-ALUMINUM-ALLOY-6-5-COMPONENT-KIT_W0QQitemZ310019486332QQihZ021QQcategoryZ32819QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I want to spend no more than 600 dollars right now, so any other suggestions would be awesome, thanks

Well two DVC4ohms lead me to recommend a one ohm stable amp. You would be happy if you gave them at least 750 watts per sub, the more the better i suppose. You wanting to take up ALL your jeep's space with music reproduction units or do you still want cargo room?

i have a large cargo area, so space isn't really a problem, but i do still want some space for storage. Any ideas on a good, affordable amp?

I have heard this very amp. The sound quality and output is insane for the money.

Anyone here will attest to the quality of the subs.

Same for the mid/highs.

say $450 for the above. With 600$, you should have enough to get a decent enclosure for the RE's....I am assuming you have a head unit.

.............just my 2 cents...I bought my system from Woofers etc. for less than $800

I am very impressed so far.

I'd say just get one Audioque SD2.512, put it in a ported box (search around a bit for the info), get an amp around 600-700 watts (make sure you set the gain right, seach around for that too) and be done with it. If you need a head unit, I don't know.
