I plan on buying a Mini Cooper in the fall for business

and I want to add some subs(DAH) in the MINI & in the theme of things these might work out to be quite charming

maybe 4 in the rear storage area in a ported box might work out well

are these for sale yet or just an tease?

I definatly want to do a SMALL setup but with decent SQL

only good until 1kHz or so, so it's not a true midwoofer, more a midbass/sub like the Adire Koda, not the Extremis...

methinks thats on a riser, because the video of it (latter pages) it looks quite smaller.

but that would be sweet for HT duty in a college dorm or somthin, maybe a portable laptop setup seeing that it will wang with 100w

thas what they said it was for - midbass\sub duty - he said it had to be an addition to a 2 way because of the harsh rolloff at 1k

thats rather deep, which is why i'd doubt many would use it up front. thats what she said!! ohhhh. anyways, i like big 8's, theyre so cute. maybe i should get some and have a hello kitty theme when i redo my car. yes, that would be quite quaint.

Another update.

I've simply never heard so much bass from a 6.5" driver in my life. ever. This has more low end extension in a .4cF sealed box than the 15" driver I was using at home in a 1.6cF box.

I'm the floored. woohoo for a good start to the week!

Over lunch I may snap some pics if i'm not still listening to it. I think we've got this one nailed out.

It's not a midrange but more of a subwoofer that has strong midbass capablities.

As far as uses go, Ben stated that they had in mind cars with limited space when they designed this speaker.
