Techno Music Dilemma

I've got 2 Pioneer 2000SPL's, and I'm really happy with them. However, during techno music, you know how sometimes you get a constant deep bass line, but then there is also a rapid beat going on at the same time. Well, on my system I can't really hear that rapid beat, just the deep constant tone. Theyre in a 1.00 cubic foot per chamber sealed box for now. Would getting a bigger ported box fix this, or are the subs just not capable of handling these complicated beats, since theyre mainly SPL subs.

well first they are pioneer subs..

second... a lot of techno sounds come from the mids too..

hey now, don't be bashin' on the 2000SPL's... but ur right I think midbass speakers might help...
