so i initially had a factory HU. and subs and an amp and a box.

of course all of you know factory HU. need a line out converter.

but NOW. i have a new headunit. but the dumb ****s at mobile one auto sound (local store) didn't connect my RCA's and remote wire to my new headunit

i was wondering if anyone can help me on HOW to detach all the wires with the line out converter, and installing all the other wires to my headunit and then setting up the amp and its gains?

i just got the premier 600 and an arc audio amp. I NEED LOTS OF HELP please :]

and NO bullshit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well 2 disconnect everything u just DISCONNECT IT! run the rca's into the head unit and run the remote turn on wire for the amp into the 12v constant wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif dats all. pretty self explanatory.

edit: SWITCHED WIRE! SWITCHED WIRE! sry bro!

but the line out converter is hooked up to some other wires in my trunk, idk if it's the Hi's or just some random wire back there. idk wtf they ar.e

all right cool.

how do i get to the back on my headunit? in my car, its pretty tricky. :[ theres not latch or button or anything on the dash, i think i have to go under the dash? or the wheel? or in the glove?

where would be the best place to mount that amp and box? i know it's bad to mount it ON the box. cause of the vibrations, but i kinda don't wanna do it on the floor panel, shit if i need to get under there, the subs and the amp are pretty heavy, and my car is like, a HONDA POS. so its prone to flats. LOL

If your line output converter is in the trunk you will need to run rcas to the headunit. This will usually entail longer rcas and a piece of 178 ga wire for your remote.

Of course the shop didnt hook them up, that is not included in a radio install.

no but i told them too, because i had a system, and the remote wire is already hooked up to the headunit, OBVIOUSLY theres more that needed to be attached. like RCA's i've notified them about it previously.

well 2 get to ur HU u pull off the front plastic cover. the cover is usually secured by some descret screws. once u find thoze screws unscwer em and pop off the plastic cover! then ur into the back of the HU! for the amp i mounted it on my box due to space restrictions! keep in mind when i mounted it i used 1/2" rubber squares underneath it. and personally i ran an amp on my boc with no rubber for three years and nothing ever fvcked up! shit the floor vibrated more than the **** box!

how do i know which screws are the ones i take out? i dont have a plastic cover, cause its a detachable face. so when i take that out, its just a metal frame.. :\ what if the screws that i screw out are the ones that attach the face HU to the dash
