Here it is in the truck it may go behind the seat but i dont know yet. I might start to build a new box soon thats why its just in there not looking nice or anything.

Here is the amp kx400.1 also just put in there cuz of how offten my setup is redone.

But this box i made for it makes my 10" l7 hit it also has provided it with some ok sq. Ive found so for that the song that realy makes the sub hit so far is track 17 Say I Yi Yi on the cd (The Source Presents- Hip Hop Hits, Vol. 6)

Atleast with this box i have an armrest now.

its in my room not going to use it tell summer when i fig out a box to build for both behind the seats or a better one in the center

ya i was thinking about something like that i know the i want to get a box with the same c/f as the one i just made in the pic it makes the sub sound good and it hits hard to

ARMREST is why.

i say build a new center console, amp in the armrest under some tinted plexiglass with holes where the control knobs are (kicker has them on the top) so you can change the settings from the drivers seat, then extend that box all the way to the back of the truck, and put each kicker facing the front windshield with 2 round 4" ports (seperate chambers) pointing like a double barrel shotgun at the windshield, and the kickers will be slightly angled toward each other at 45 degree angles from the back wall.

that would be cool.

interesting but sounds like it would like nice. I would like to do something like that but don't have all the skill needed to complete something like that when I finally do redo the system im still going to make it look like a nice setup and all but first have to start think of designs I could do and get some measurements in my truck to see what I have t work with. i know that 9" deep box could fit behind the seats

take a picture of the car from the middle of the dash, back toward the seats and rear of the car, try and get the entire arm rest area and ill draw you a picture of what im talking about.

Side to side long in back is 63"

Behind the seats there is about 8" on bottom and 5" on the top is the with.

In the center back to front is about 42" long. 6" high before it bottom of dash.

Well there they are i dont know how much help they will be but if you can use it thats coool if not i will see if i can get better pics but i dont think its going to happen. And thanks.

hows this?

the two holes in the top there between the seats are ports, the two holes in the bottom are cup holders. you could really put anything you wanted down there, maybe a center channel speaker even. maybe a CD holder (get a cheap tower one from the store and glass it in place!) and the back, each L7 is going to be on the TOP flat part of the box (slanted a bit and angled toward each other in seperate chambers)

most of this entire console can be made from wood and PVC tubing, a little bit of fiberglass and alot of sanding and filling *AND ALOT OF MEASURING*. its really not too incredibly hard to build IMO. great way to hide the wires too.

what do you think?
