12^2ft or P&S, what to do?

Let me rephrase. It's an unholy 60 degrees today, and I will never get another chance to do this until spring.

Screw it. I'm doing the doors. I don't have enough trunk rattle or 80hz+ frequencies for any of my other options.

doors for sure. thats where most of my vibrations come from.

rattles are pieces of trim panels hitting eachother, vibrations is the actual metal moving and shaking crap. hopefully you will get rid of the rattles by dampening the door vibrations //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i cant wait to deaden my car.

you will not have enough material if you own a four door vechile with only 12 sq ft. Also, just as a suggestion, use a blow dryer because it'll make the adhesive stick better

UPDATE:

I had actually a lot more than I thought. I was able to do both front doors, and the trunk. Now, bear in mind this is a Ford Taurus, only about 2 square feet of the inside of the door is even able to be deadened.

It's not very good, installation wise. But, I did notice that I get about 1/3 of the trunk rattles I used to, and the bass is louder and more distinct. Overall I think I got my $6 out of it. Pics will come soon.

Update 2:

When I said "not very good, installation wise" this is what I meant. Since I didn't really know what I was doing, I started putting little squares of P&S in trouble spots. While the whole panel still vibrates, it does so much less.

This is the inside of the doors. It looks a lot better than the outside.

This is nearly the full excursion abilities of my cheap subs. About 1/2 inch, P2P. This was me burping a 40hz test tone. DD HU / amp / EQ settings.

My peel&seel trunk lid. It does the job. It looks awful, but lets see you do better with $6 in deadener. Hahaha.

Front staging speakers! Whee. I took this pic because I can never remember the model number. XS-V1633.
