Well, I have a 97 Taurus SHO with the electronic climate control. So, I can't simply do a dash kit and be done with it. I decided that the factory radio wouldn't cut it, so I started to install my Pioneer 6800mp. I decided that the best place for this would be in front of the shifter, in the center console. I already got everything cut, and I'll be adding the second layer of fiberglass mat tonight. Then tomorrow morning, I will do all of the wiring and it should be up and running. I will paint it in a little while, still trying to decide on color/finish. I'll get some pictures up for you guys later tomorrow when I get it in and all. Hopefully you guys will like the finished product.

Stock location, but if this turns out to be pretty nice i might have to try it:p:
So get out there and take a pic for us:veryhapp:
I take it you had one of the Taurus' with the knobs for the climate control.

so are you keeping the original radio in there too? interesting. i had a taurus a while back, i just didn't put a system in it
Yes, but it won't be functional. It will only display the time.

Well, I am almost done. I got it hooked up, and it works great now. I have to do some bondo-ing, sanding, and painting yet. I'll post some pictures for you guys as soon as it's finished. Thanks for the help guys.
