New install - Pics included

This is my second install since gettin a car I figured this was the best way to do it and still be able to use my trunk for trips.

Heres the first pick of a bored I bolted to the bottom of the trunk and the screwed everything onto it, I tried to keep it tidy but didnt bother too much since u wont see much of this.

Heres how it looks with the top on it which stands 4" above everything on wooden sides and 2 6" case fans I'me using to cool my amps.

Here a pic with the carpet over it, tommorow I am going to get some flexi glass to cover the hole in the middle. and ile tidy up the carpet a bit.

Lastly here is a pic with my sub. I hope to get a another L7 soon and built a better enclosure for them, but this will do for now.

I know alot of people dont like caps and I know they dont do much but I think they look cool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Up front I have a clarion HU and the new alpine type-r comps, soon I will be installing another set of type-rs in the rear but I need to build somewhere to mount them and ile get a new 4 chan alpine amp.

What does everyone think? any comments, ways I could improve it?

Good job! x2 on the ported woofer thing. Since it looks like you have the room, you would increase the output by a good amount. Or at least bigger sealed.

yea...you should get that l7 ported with a big enclosure...its a waste of money to have that l7 in that small *** box....but goood shit homes

Would getting a big ported enclosure realy make a big difference?

Does anyone know where I could buy a ready made one in the UK? I'de like to build one but tbh I dont think I have the carpetry skills to make it to the right dimensions lol

Yeah, a huge difference in that small sealed vs. ported. Sorry, don't know where to help ya on the box in the UK. Even if you had some audio shop do it the price would be worth it.

If you have the tools and patience then you can get people here to design a box enclosure for ya with the tuning for the port...MoeLester has good pans.
