New Guy With Some Questions

Hi guys. I am looking into building my own sub boxes to save a little cash, and so I can build it to my own taste. Now the questions start. What kind of board would I use? Where would I get it? And what tools will I need to build it? (I probly have the tools I would need but I wanna make sure).

3/4'' mdf and get it at home depot or lowes.

tools would be a nice table saw/circular saw, jig saw or router with circle jig, and a nice drill. thats should about do it.

Thanks guys. Would I nail it together or use screws? And about designs, I have a reg. cab 1991 Ford F150, so if you have any good ideas please share. I wanna put the subs behind the seat along with the mono amp for them.
