Found a slotted port calculator (carstereo.com) which states that ratio of port side dimensions should be less than or equal to 1:8. My JL Audio manual for my 10" subs has instructions for a slotted port enclosure and shows a slotted port with a ratio of almost 1:14 for port sides. Anyone have any insight into constructing dimensions for a slotted port?
