Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this confusing world of 2016 car audio.
My 07 Ford Fusion was broken into on Friday night (right in my driveway!).
The asshat that broke in cleaned out the glove box and center console and bashed in the front of my factory stereo.
I'm looking to replace it with a Pioneer AVH 4100NEX.
I want 3 mandatory things from this unit:
Sirus XM
Navigation
Backup Camera
My question to all you professionals is:
What do I need to get along with the 4100 to make this all work without spending more than the car is worth! LOL!
I know I need a backup camera - which one in best?
Do I need anything more than a Ford Factory GPS antenna to make the Nav work?
Do I need anything more than a Sirius XM antenna to make the Sat Radio work?
Sorry for all the dumb questions, just trying to get up to speed on what works with what. The last time I put a stereo in a car was in 1987, a lot has changed since then.
