New guy needs help installing...please

Ok, so I'm installing my system in my Ram 1500 quad cab. I have and Alpine M650 and a 10" 4ohm Type R that I'm going to run at 2 ohms. I already have the sub wired to 2 ohms using the jumpers that came with it. My headunit is a Pioneer AVH-p7490DVD with an externa brain unit. It only has one RCA jack so i bought a conveter that merges the two RCA's into one for it. Is that right? Also, the remote turn on wire. Where should it go? If you guys could help me out I would appreciate it. Going to be installing when my roomate gets back. He might know but i want to check with the experts first. Thanks

What do you mean by "converter that merges the two RCA's into one"?? A Y adaptor??

The remote turn on lead goes from the wiring harness on the deck to your amp.

Sorry, yeah. It has two females into a male. Also the brain unit has two wires labeled with a tag that says Subwoofer output. They look like crimp housing with the rubber housing around the outside of it. So should I try and plug the remote turn on into that, or shoud I look for the blue and white wire in the power harness and splice into that?

Well after looking at the owners manual the wires labeled subwoofer output looks like connecting the sub speaker wire directly to the brain without an external amp. So i guess the best way is to connect using the RCA, then tap into the blue and white wire coming off the wiring harness?
