New guy needs amp

Alright,

I need some power to hear my music over the CTD under the hood.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Here are my plans:

- CDT 2way Ultra-Competition Braxial (or Focal.. flip a coin)

- 15" CMPX2 or XXX/Brahma (same speakers, different logo, I think)

- Possibly add midbass drivers to counterbalance the XXX/CMPX2

I want 2x200W RMS for the front speakers, and 1x1500W RMS max for the sub (1000W-1500W range)

I will be upgrading the alternator (which is pretty beefy as is) so that is covered.

Zapco references look nice, but look ungodly LONG! I have plenty of room for amps, but they seem like they are 3 foot long!

~ 600 for front amp, 1400 for sub amp is budget.

I already have an Alpine 9835.

Suggestions?

Tru, PPI, Zapco... you can get some REALLY good stuff with a $2k budget. or you can spend a lot less and get some stuff that might suit you better for daily/non-competing use.

I figure higher quality amps are more efficient, since they use better components, and efficiency is something I am looking for, but not specifically.

Purty amps are good too.. Elemental Design amps are too "plain" looking, IMO.. a buddy of mine SWEARS by Tsunami/ED but I don't care much for them.
