new dvd,cd nav bluetooth unit problems,help me please

Hi everyone new to the forum,hope someone can help me. just had a new dvd,cd,nav system installed into my 2000 impala. cd works, radio works fine but no video. you can here the sound from the dvd but will not show the picture, did not ground it to the ebrake but did ground it to factory ground wire, this should work right. also tried to install a rocker switch to act like the ebrake so i can turn dvd on anytime for passenger to watch but that did not work at all. what am i doing wrong. also i had to install harness to relocate the factory deck in the trunk, too manythings to bring up about that to get into it right now, but had to be done. what can i do to get this thing working, please help.

What kind of radio is it? Also, there is a module you could have bought instead of relocating the factory deck. The relocation harness is just much cheaper.
