Featured 2018 Nav Radio in 2017 Altima. I Need Help!

I'm trying to put a 2018 HU in my 2017. Both have all the bells and whistles. I have researched both electrical diagrams and think I'm 99.3% done but have two questions and wish for someone more knowledgeable to double check.
I have uploaded the pin outs from the harness side as I am going to build a jumper.
Plugs M99, M100, M131, M137, and M165 have no changes.
1) 2017 M151 moves CAN-H, CAN-L, & Spd Signal to 2018 M153, 2017 M151 GRND is not used so I'm going to hook it to the Parking Brake SIG on 2018 M153.
2) 2017 M153 all goes to 2018 M153 except ILL CONT - which moves to M151.
3) 2017 M154 has no corresponding plug on 2018 and moves to M153.
Now questions.
1) does the GRD to PKB SIG make sense?
2) the only wire I see on the 2017 that has no corresponding 2018 is MIC VCC (2017 M153). 2018 M153 has a NS ON/Off that I believe sends Telemetric mic on/off sig to the telemetric unit. I hooked that to the 2017 M153 BF Mic which the wiring diagram on the 2017 (I can upload those also if it would help) appears to correspond to the N/S ON/OFF on the 2018. Does this look right and should I just leave the MIC VCC unconnected?

That is a well thought out plan. HU is 2018. Going in a 2017 car. Specifically what seems to be wrong with the radio in the car? You are bringing up specific technical things that should be done. Is there any reason to modify or change it? What's not working with the radio?

Nissan put Car Play in the 2018 HU. I was thinking going after market but I didn’t want to loose functionality and I prefer the stock look. Plus it was about $200 cheaper to get a used one. That’s really the only reason I’m doing this.
