So ive been looking for a while made a post a while back. Ive Narrowed it down to a Suabru Legacy Gt or A Impreza WRX. The Impreza seems to be easier to mod and the legacy is larger and more luxury. I was wondering which is gonna be faster in the long run after mods. and which one is easier to install with. i still have the G35 Coupe in the back of my mind though

the gt should have more space under the hood to fit mods thus making it easier...however, I do not know the weight differences and have not seen a highly modded gt.

I would Go for the legacy for space and luxury and then mod it to be unique

i was looking at the 2008 evo MR with paddle shifter

and the 2008 sti hatchback

last Saturday

both are sick

LEGACY GT...pretty quick and alot more elegant looking than the wrx.

Impreza will certainly be faster but only at the cost of interior space. The STi I drove was just too small for me to be a daily driver and most certainly a purpose built vehicle. It wasn't rediculously race built but certainly wouldn't take much to gut the interior for a race car. Personally I would go for the Legacy GT, check out the GT B-spec, essentially a STi but with some interior space, would be a killer car modded up and at the same time a nice sleeper.

Fast daily --- Legacy GT

Purpose built fast --- Impreza

I like the legacy alot and the only downside is that its probubly heavy and heavy cars are hard to make fast haha. My car now weighs like 4450 Pounds which is a shit ton for a sedan. it has 200hp but its so heavy

the gt is ~3500 and has a 250hp 2.5t

the wrx is 3140-3240lb and has 230hp 2.5t

Are you looking at the newer wrx or older bodystyle

Are you looking at the newer wrx or older bodystyle

My question also. The newer one is NOT anything like the older rally inspired ones. They just look like smaller sedans. I have an 03 impreza and absolutely love it, but I wouldn't be interested whatsoever in an 08. A co-worker test drove an 08 last week and said it just felt like his (older) legacy. Didn't have the same impreza WRX feel.
