New Car *pics*

cars sell for different prices everywhere. He may can sell it for 6500 there and I might only be able to sell it for 4500 here. It all depends on where you live. And Mercedes has a car in a museum that had over a million miles put on without having any MAJOR motor work done.

People don't know it, but I'd buy a car with 100k on it if it was well maintained. Some engines out there if driven properly, 100k is a break in period. Espically on v dub's and german cars. period.

I have 110k on mine and i put approx 40k hence ive had it. not 1 problem at all. its all in how its taken care of.

i totally agree, if you change the oil and dont dog it, it should run for a good amount of time. the ****** and motor both sound very good, and checked under the hood, no oil leaks anywhere. i started a wax today, but didn't have time to finish. im really confident in this car, actually just took it for a spin around my neighborhood, and am thinking about just keeping it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

R-12 was pre-1990's, dude...no need to follow me around and validify all my posts about cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
my luck, this will be a late 80's model //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
According to a few websites, R-12 was used in cars till 1994. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I know because my silverado (a '93) has the old style coolant.

mileage is just a number IF the previous owners took care of it (followed scheduled maintenance like oil changes, etc) and what kind of miles they are (city driving or highway driving)
case and point: my moms 95 lumina had 190k i think when she bought it, was taken care of and all those miles were highway miles, it ran like a ***** ape (lol), couldnt even feel the engine run or anything, original motor had around 250k before my mom blew it up (ignorance of water pump...), has original ***** that is just now starting to show signs of wear (at 278k)....
My '94 Civic DX has 180k miles on the stock cluth;)

Actually, I sold a 1991 Honda Civic DX Hatch with 293,000 miles on it for 1600. And last time I talked to the guy it was going on 400,000 miles and the only thing he had to do was replace the distributor cap and rotary button

shit load of miles, I would have chose a different way to turn my $...but to each his own. Gl with the sale.

My money would be on a honda outlasting a german almost any day. Assuming they were both properly maintained //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
